How to report an error and how we log corrections
Victorian regulations, tribunal processes, and regulator URLs change. If you spot an outdated rule, broken link, or unclear table on Services Explained, tell us so we can re-verify the primary source and update the guide.
Our correction commitment
Guides display the oldest recorded check date among their cited sources. A new site build does not count as a source check. When a reader or reviewer flags a factual issue:
- We check the primary Victorian statute or regulator page (BPC, ESV, CAV, RDRV, VCAT, AFCA).
- If a rule or threshold is in dispute or awaiting statutory clarification, we place the affected claim on hold rather than leaving uncertain advice live.
- Material corrections are recorded here with the guide URL, change date and source after verification. No reader corrections have been published in this release candidate.
Send a correction
Include the guide URL, the wording that needs checking and a link to a current source. Leave out identification documents, policy numbers and private dispute records.
